Significance of Janmashtami 2015

Time is money, time is fortune, and those who are fortunate they will automatically will take  initiative on right time.Time can be measured in various ways like Day,hour, minute, tithi, Paksha, ghatika etc.As its the Birth Day of Lord Krishna so lets get into the Significance of Tithi on this Auspicious Day.

There are total 15 tithis(lunar day) both comes repetitively in Shukla paksh(waxing moon) and Kirshna Paksh(wanning moon).Moon influences our mind and mood.During Waxing moon tithis, we find ourself mentally bright, optimistic, energetic, enthusiast while during Wanning moon Tithis, person will be introvert,
self -analyzing.Hence Krishna Paksha is better for spiritual activities.
8th day of lunar cycle is very important even Lord Krishna was born on this 8th tithi Ashtami in the month of Bhadra, when Moon was in Rohini nakshatra. So Ashtami is auspecious in the month of Bhadra.Today is Ashtami tithi (8th day of wanning moon) when Lord Krishna was appeared.Shukla Ashtami is called Durgashtami as deity of that tithi is Durga & Krishna ashtami is called Kalashtami as deity of krishna ashtami is Kaal Bhairav.Hence these two tithis are not suitable for materialistic activities.Never to forget Lord Krishna was born in prison, had to go away from parents then from childhood onwards trouble from uncle so all such obstacles he had to go through where I will say Krishna Ashtami effected well enough.

Last 24 minutes of Ashtami Tithi and the first 24 minutes of Navami Tithi is known as Sandhi Time or the holy juncture.Sandhi time is considered the most auspicious time in performing any spiritual/religious activity .Today Whole day it will be Ashtami with Rohini nakshatra till tomorrow (6th Sept 2015)morning with when Sun also in Leo. So astrologically this auspicious combination is coming after 50years when whole day there will be Amrit Yoga and Sarvartha siddhi Yoga.Hopefully everyone will utilize this auspicious day to do some religious and spiritual activity apart from keeping urself hungry whole day.

Happy Janmashtami To All.May Krishna Bless You All.
